if you must clean/wipe use Distilled, deionized, purified water to wipe down to clean flat surface
** If you don't use it for a long time. Put a filler in the bag and store in a cool dry place to help stop wrinkle and deforming the shape.

Apply oil on a clean cloth then wipe the surface, evenly and let the cortex absorb it.
